About the Artist
Brenda Raub
Brenda Raub graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1985 at which time the school had a Guinness Book World Record for most murals in a high school. “I helped paint some of those murals and always loved being a part of that project,” Brenda notes. “A principal came and painted over all of the murals, which caused people to quit, protests happened, and over 20 years later we still don’t get to paint murals in the school. Being the art teacher at the high school, I wanted to bring murals back to our community. And therefore, Community Canvas was created!”
